The St. Barbara Men's Group is inviting the men of the parish to participate with us in Exodus 90 this year, starting on 20 Jan. If you are interested in joining other men from St. Barbara's in this endeavor, send an an email to Chris Wagner (See the Men's Group page under Ministries) to participate.

Bishop Robert will be visiting St. Barbara and the Cincinnati mission Aug 10-11. He will attend 4 PM Vespers and 5 PM Divine Liturgy on Sat Aug 10, 8 AM Divine Liturgy on Sun Aug 11, and 1:30 PM Divine Liturgy at St. Anthony of Padua on Sun Aug 11. Please make time to come and invite your family and friends. We will be having a potluck after the 5 PM ​DIvine Liturgy on ​Aug 10 and after the 1:30 PM DIvine Liturgy ​at St. Anthony of Padua in CIncinnati ​on ​Aug 11. We will be having a camping trip in the Caesar Creek State Park at Fifty Springs Group Campground, OH-73 Waynesville, OH, 45068 from Aug 2 - 4. We will be having events during the day. If you wish to camp you will need to provide your own camping gear. If you do not wish to camp, please consider coming during the day on Saturday or Sunday.

*CANCELLED: This event has been cancelled due to low numbers from our community* You are invited for a pilgrimage to the newly established Papal Basilica of St. Mary in Lancaster, OH. It is a great occasion for spiritual renewal and some fun together with our parish families. Bring food to share. This is a common pilgrimage with St. John Chrysostom Parish in Columbus. We will have the Akathistos, Divine Liturgy, and a picnic.

We will be bringing back the donation bin for St. Vincent de Paul during Great Lent. Please bring in non-perishable donations to drop in the bin at Divine Liturgy.

Fr. Frantisek and his family are sick this weekend, so there will be no Divine Liturgy in Dayton or Cincinnati on 14 Jan 2024. Please pray for the Fedorisins to get better soon!

We will be having a container out during the Philip's Fast to collect for St. Vincent de Paul Society. Please bring non-perishables for our donation box.

We will be traveling to the Maria Stein Shrine in Maria Stein, OH on 19 Nov. We will celebrate Divine Liturgy in the Chapel at noon, share a potluck meal at 1:15 and then have a tour afterwards. Please contact Fr. Frantisek if you wish to join us. Website: https://mariasteinshrine.org/

The first ECF class will begin at 3 PM at St. John Bosco Chapel on Saturday, 21 Oct, 2023. This year we'll be focusing on teaching about the Divine Liturgy.

The next Men's Group will meet on 8 October at 3 PM. We'll be discussing some of the letters of St. Ignatius of Antioch (AD 105-115)

We'll be having a parish picnic on Sunday September 10 from 10 AM - 7 PM at Fairborn community park located at 691 E Dayton Yellow Springs Rd, Fairborn. The community will gather at Shelter 6. we will have a cookout and potluck.
